Polkadot / Kusama
- Unique Network has won the most recent Polkadot parachain slot auction and will be onboarded in the Lease Period 8. Next parachain slot auction is scheduled to begin on Sunday, 17 August at block #9_918_400.
- Pichiu, Kylin’s canary network, managed to lock up enough KSM tokens to successfully secure slot 31 on Kusama.
- Tether USDt launches on Kusama Network. At launch, it will be deemed with the asset ID 1984 and used to power transactions on its Statemine parachain.
- Motion 184 for Treasury funding of Ask! 0.4 (ink! in AssemblyScript) is under consideration by Polkadot Council.

Moonbeam has announced the availability of the Bifrost’s token BNC on Moonriver Network. It can now be used as xcBNC (an XC-20 representation of BNC) across the Moonriver ecosystem, and the MOVR token is now available on Bifrost.
