Polkadot Ecosystem Weekly Digest. February 14–20
Polkadot / Kusama
- The Polkadot Council has considered a curator for the Anti-Scam Bounty.
- Polkadot Decoded 2022 has been confirmed for June 29th & 30th. This year’s program will offer a full hybrid experience of in-person events in Berlin, Mexico City, New York, and either Singapore or Shanghai. The call for proposals is now open.
- After winning Kusama’s 25th auction, KICO will be onboarded as its 27th parachain (25-auction winning parachains, plus Statemine & Encointer) at the start of lease 19–482 network stakeholders locked up KSM in favor.
Bifrost
- Bifrost and Statemine have been successfully upgraded to a bi-directional crosschain, realizing a loop of asset liquidity. It allows dev or community to issue assets with Statemine. Bifrost will also promote the liquidity of Statemine assets and application scenarios in parachains.
- Bifrost has launched the Collator node public beta test (with BNC testnet tokens only used for testing purposes). Prize pool is 20,000 BNC (Mainnet).
Zenlink
- Zenlink partners with Frax Finance. GLMR/FRAX and FXS/FRAX pairs now have over $10M of liquidity on Zenlink, which is provided by Frax Finance as initial liquidity for bootstrapping on the Moonbeam network.
- Zenlink EVM contract has successfully passed SlowMist’s smart contract security audit. Full report.
Moonbeam/Moonriver
- The Moonbeam Foundation has completed the distribution of GLMR rewards to Take Flight participants. GLMR tokens were sent to the rewards address specified in the Token Purchase Agreement (TPA).
GLMR token holders can use their tokens to interact with the network by:
- Staking with collators & earn rewards
- Using live integrations in the ecosystem
- The Moonbeam and Lido development teams have been working closely on deploying to Moonriver, and now focus on Moonbeam for the near future.
- Exiled Racers announced its mainnet launch to Moonbeam for later this year. Exiled Racers is a 3D NFT project that leverages Moonbeam’s EVM compatibility to deliver hyper-realistic NFTs & rewarding play-to-earn experiences.
RMRK
RMRK.app’s Singular is getting ready to be the only Dotsama marketplace with third-party-author royalties built-in, and the only NFT marketplace in general to have solved the nested NFT royalties problem. Up next: ambassadors testing and release.
Kylin / Pichiu

Manta / Calamari
Binance Labs, the venture capital and innovation incubator of Binance, made a strategic investment in Manta Network.
Astar / Shiden
- Astar partners with GraphQL API service provider Subsquid. The partnership enables the dApps projects on Astar Network to use Subsquid for managing raw on-chain data while vastly reducing the complexity of fetching and transforming blockchain data.
- DappRadar now offers users access to dapps on the Shiden Network. You can now analyze which dapps attract the most volume, unique user wallets, or process the most transactions.

Composable Finance / Picasso
- Composable Finance is deploying a new decentralized exchange (DEX) built into Picasso parachain, called Pablo. Details.
- Composable Finance has received a grant from Olympus Grants for its efforts in bridging liquidity from Olympus DAO to Picasso, and ultimately, DotSama as a whole. Picasso’s focus will be on establishing deep liquidity for starting pairs before moving forward to an expansion phase that will rapidly introduce more EVM and Substrate assets.
Interlay / Kintsugi
